Currently serving as the Honorary Chairman of mpi Matsuka Phonics. Pioneered the introduction of phonics learning in Japan and established the Matsuka Phonics Institute in 1979.

As the founder and CEO of TAI Inc., Asha & Company, and TERAKOYA Academia, Sharad is committed to contributing significantly to Nepal’s economic growth. He envisions these enterprises as trusted custodians within society. Beyond business, Sharad’s humanitarian spirit shines through as the founder and president of YouMe Nepal. This non-profit organization has touched the lives of over 25,000 Nepalese children, and under his leadership, operates two schools, educating more than 800 students. Yasunobu Sato, an esteemed advisor at our organization, brings an exceptional academic and professional background. He holds a Doctorate in Law from the University of London’s Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School. Formerly a professor at the University of Tokyo, he led the ‘Human Security’ program and directed the Global Area Studies Institute’s Center for Sustainable Peace. His legal career spans roles in Japan, New York, Amsterdam, and Brussels, including positions at UNHCR and UNTAC, and as a lawyer at the EBRD. Yasunobu is also noted for his publications on refugees, human security, and global governance, significantly contributing to the discourse on these critical issues.
Yasuko Akutsu, a visionary in healthcare design, serves as an esteemed advisor at D&S EdNet. After her Master’s in Environmental Science at the University of Tsukuba, she honed her skills at GK Industrial Design Laboratory. In 2012, Yasuko founded MT Healthcare Design Research Inc., a firm dedicated to healthcare innovation. As the Tokyo Ambassador for Aging 2.0 and an Associate Professor at Chiba University Hospital, she merges technology with geriatric care, driving advancements in the field. Her leadership in developing reskilling courses at Chiba University Hospital, such as Medical Innovations and Care DX, underscores her commitment to shaping the future of healthcare education.
Machiko specializes in international cooperation and child rights, with a Master’s in Development Studies from the University of Sussex. Her work focuses on addressing child labor, trafficking, and exploitation in developing countries. As Representative Director at C-Rights, she promotes a rights-based approach to child welfare.
